The American Staffordshire Terrier is a medium size dog that grows to be around 65-70 pounds. They are known for their muscular appearance and their fun-loving, outgoing personality. They are also well known for their strength and devotion, to the point where they would fight anyone and anything that threatens their family. Short and stocky with a thick, short coat, the American Staffordshire Terrier makes a great pet for children and gets along well with other pets as long as it is socialized at an early age.
